  • Article 7. Prohibition of Child Labor
  • 1) Howon Co., Ltd. strictly prohibits child labor. The term "child" refers to any individual under the age of 15 (or 14, as stated in the law of the corresponding nation), the age of completion of compulsory education, or below the national minimum employment age, whichever is oldest.
    2) Prior to entering into an employment contract, Howon Co., Ltd. shall require prospective employees to submit proof of identification, such as a resident registration certificate, to ensure they exceed the statutory minimum employment age.
    3) If the Company hires a worker who is under the legal minimum age or breaches the child labor requirement, after hiring, it shall immediately cancel the employment and notify the legal guardian of the situation. However, if the legal guardian provides consent and a work permit granted by the Minister of Employment and Labor is submitted, the company may reconsider the continuation of employment and provide the opportunity for work.
